The Client Acquisition team (CA) is the new to bank business development group that supports both Commercial Banking (CB) and Major Client Group (MCG).

This area acts as the conduit for new to bank customers for all financial services. CA's focus is on medium to large private companies or Publicly Listed businesses.

Do work that matters


At the forefront of business origination and deal execution, you will specialise in identifying and pursuing opportunities with commercial or corporate clients.

You will be instrumental in driving our direction and harnessing valuable client partnerships, business relationships and new-to-bank opportunities.


The Executive Client Acquisition roles are located across a specific geographical area in Melbourne and are tasked with developing new business lending opportunities, primarily for businesses with revenue $50m-$150m (Commercial Executive) or over $150m-$500m+ (Corporate Executive).


More specifically, you will:

  • Identify opportunities, pursue and acquire new profitable clients for the bank by using your networks and referral sources
  • Prepare and manage endtoend new business transactions and ensure a seamless handover to relationship teams
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams in order to work effectively and collaboratively
  • Build and maintain strong referral networks to support origination activity
