Consumer and Community Engagement Partner
Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight

Classification:
Clinical Nurse Consultant B - ZJ4 or Equivalent

Award:

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced individual to join the team at MDHS to fulfil an important role as a Consumer and Community Engagement Partner.

This role will oversee, and be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the Health in Partnership Program.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse, Allied Health Professional or Psychologist with AHPRA or
  • Health professional or administrator
Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills

  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
  • Experience of working with consumers and consumer advocacy is an advantage
  • A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to consumer safety, consumer engagement and person centred care
Desirable

  • Consumer leadership training
  • Post graduate qualifications in Consumer and Community Engagement

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external key stakeholders in order to drive consumer engagement initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrated experience in developing reports and governance documents
  • Excellent time management skills and demonstrated experience in managing multiple competing priorities while meeting timelines and ensuring high quality work output
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and traits characteristic of a senior role, exhibiting behaviours and expectations in line with organisation values
