About the role:


We are looking for a reliable driver holding an MR licence who is willing to take on an unconvential delivery driver role.


Alsco is a linen rental, delivery and laundry service that deals primarily with hospitality, food processing, industrial and corporate industries.

Customers rely on Alsco products and servicing to focus on more profitable avenues of their business, so having our range of products available at all times, delivering on time, and exchanging dirty linen with new linen is so important to ensure our base operations run smoothly and our customers are satisfied with the products and service we provide.


Unlike traditional delivery roles that generally involve dropping a package at the front door, a driver at Alsco is usually on the customer's premises managing their stock on hand, delivering new products, and returning the customer's dirty laundry to our washing facilities to be cleaned, folded and delivered again the following week.


Who we are looking for:


As a driver you will be comfortable driving an MR vehicle (our fleet mostly consists of Hino and Fuso trucks) and using a smart phone.

You will be someone who is reasonably fit, who can comfortably load stock on and off their trucks by hand and will be capable of lifting bags of 20-30kg.

You will be organised enough to manage the day's paperwork and take customer signatures using a smart phone.

You will be comfortable using the smart phone to check off the daily pack out and cross check your customer's inventory on site.

You will be okay to start early mornings around 5.30-6am. You will care about the maintenance and cleanliness of your vehicle. You will be understanding of issues that arise, or problems that arise with customers. You will proactively encourage a positive work culture. Most important, you will care about your customers and provide them the best service possible.

Once you have completed your training we provide our employees with a truck which is theirs to take to and from work:
fuel is paid for on the company card. The independence to work alone and manage your own route.
