You will be responsible for:

  • Completing assessments of motor vehicles for repair cost or total loss, addressing customer complaints promptly, including repair warranty issues and service-related concerns.
  • Adhering to motor assessing processes, guidelines, parts policy, severity coding requirements, and repairer standards.
  • Implementing repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts reporting, and scorecards to enhance repairer performance.
  • Contributing to enhancing customer service provided by repairers.
  • Efficiently producing total loss reports within 24 hours of assessment, when feasible.
  • Acting on customer feedback and insights, ensuring customer interests are central to our operations.

About you:

  • Holding a trade qualification with significant post-apprenticeship experience as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter, or Motor Mechanic.
  • Understanding the Motor Vehicle Insurer Code of Conduct extensively.
  • Experience in motor vehicle repair techniques and quoting damaged vehicles.
  • Experience in customer interactions and staff management.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrating technical proficiency with various systems, software, databases, reporting tools, and communication platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
