The OpportunityThe Senior Child Protection Worker Aboriginal Intensive Family Support 50d and Senior Field Worker Aboriginal Intensive Family Support 50d is responsible for engaging and working with identified at risk Aboriginal families to prevent the need for children to enter out of home care. The role is key in assisting strengthen families' capacities to provide safe care by increasing child safety through the Intensive Family Support approach, providing intensive in-home support services and case management for Aboriginal children.
As a frontline child protection related role, this position is eligible for the Regional Attraction and Retention Incentive (RARI) Scheme. If you are appointed from this recruitment process during the effective RARI timeframe, you may be eligible for payments in addition to existing employment entitlements.
