The opportunity

BDA has updated its strategy and is establishing a Transformation Office to deliver a program of strategic organisational change initiatives during 2023 that will equip us to achieve the strategy, goals and aspirations for 2030 and beyond.

We are seeking talented and experienced change practitioner for the Transformation Office to deliver substantive change to BDA's target operating model including culture, governance, processes and systems.

The opportunity is for a 12-month assignment with the future possibility for extension or transition to a permanent role depending on the business needs.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, BDA Transformation Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage change management tools and methodology to deliver assigned work packages and initiatives to support and enable BDA strategy implementation
  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness, and identify and engage key stakeholders
  • Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans
  • Integrate change management activities into project deliverables and activities
  • Define change success goals and establish metrics to monitor progress
  • Plan, facilitate and support handover of project outputs to Business as Usual (BAU) owners
Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience with, and knowledge of, change management principles, methodologies and tools (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience in transformational change programs (highly desirable)
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Advanced facilitation and influencing skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, including active listening
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand organisational issues and challenges

  • Ability to develop positive, effective stakeholder relationships in a matrix organisation
