CCQ's diverse region covers 161,108 km2 from Sunshine Coast to Rockhampton and west to Emerald. The population in the region is just under 1M people with around 68% living regionally or remotely and more than 28% living in the most disadvantaged quintile. CCQ collaborates with the community to provide exceptional primary healthcare services to reduce health inequalities for the region. CCQ has seven key priorities for health improvement: mental health, alcohol and other drugs, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, population health, health workforce, digital health and older person's health.

About the role
The key responsibility of this role involves managing stakeholder relationships, leading a team of primary health coordinators, working on reform and change within the organisation, delivering results, having a knowledge of the health system and project management.
The ideal person will have a good understanding of the health system, experience in health care and relevant tertiary qualifications. Work with the Director and CCQ's networks, partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders including primary healthcare providers, Hospital & Health Service, social service providers, consumers and communities to champion systems and service reform, identify opportunities for collaboration, and drive integrated approaches to improve health outcomes.
