The role of Client Services Coordinator is to manage operational arrangements for all hirers of the venues, ensuring effective planning, marketing and implementation of their event.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Assist the Theatre Manager to develop and implement the annual theatre season program
  • Assist in preparation of detailed theatre budgets for all programs to deliver positive financial outcomes
  • Manage all venue hire arrangements including calendar of bookings, preparation of quotes, client contractual arrangements and client settlement processes
  • Oversee client liaison including on site client access, catering, merchandise, event signage and other client related tasks
  • Assist with the coordination of daily activities and events, including the set up and break down of event spaces
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders from community clients to commercial promoters and be able to develop new relationships and strategic initiatives
  • Initiate marketing strategies to identify new and increased opportunities to develop and maintain innovative revenue streams utilising the theatres spaces

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Arts, Events or Business Operations or related field OR demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience in diverse research, programming and audience development in similar venues and performance spaces
  • Specific knowledge of complex entertainment/theatre contract negotiation and management skills
  • Demonstrated financial management and budgeting experience
  • Project management skills and ability coordinate and meet timelines for competing priorities
  • Extensive customer service experience and ability to deal with complex customer enquiries, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and customer expectations are met
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work within a small team to deliver key outcomes to internal and external customers
  • Welldeveloped problem solving and decisionmaking skills including the ability to make recommendations to management to improve or solve operational issues

This role provides a commencing salary range of $66.5k to $79.8k per annum + Superannuation.

A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role.
