Qantas Engineering keeps us at the forefront of aviation maintaining both the Qantas fleet, as well as aircraft for our third-party customers, our technical capability underpins the success of Qantas.

As an Aircraft Worker you will be responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of fleet presentation across the group.

You will work in a supportive environment where you will be scheduled on a rotating roster of 4 days on and 4 days off.

This role will see you contributing to the group's fleet presentation which will include;

  • Cabin cleaning (deep cleans)
  • Aircraft washing (deep cleans)
  • Cargo cleaning
  • Internal aircraft seat cover changes
  • Residual pesticide sprays
  • Quarantine sprays
  • Carpet shampooing
  • Lavatory and watering servicing
  • Overall support to the engineering hanger with janitor duties
You'll have

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a "pitch in attitude"
  • Able to demonstrate leadership qualities
  • A current valid NSW driver's licence
  • Basic IT knowledge
  • Flexibility to work day and night & public holidays
  • An overall enthusiastic approach to work
