**Duties**:
The position is located in Richmond, NSW, Australia. Basic function of position is to perform alert duties for DoD and non-DoD aircraft, operate powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment, and assist maintenance personnel. This Journeyman (post-apprenticeship) level position is responsible for launching and recovering a variety of transiting airframes, monitoring flight schedules, providing command and control, and coordinating ground support for aircraft and transient aircrews, operating, inspecting and general maintenance/servicing of aerospace ground equipment.

**EXPERIENCE**:
Two (2) years military administration and two (2) years technical airbase experience **OR** Three (3) years military administration and one (1) year technical airbase experience is required.

**JOB KNOWLEDGE**:

- Knowledge of Australian Border Force and Agriculture requirements.
- Working knowledge of aircraft marshalling, loading/unloading procedures, ground traffic procedures, maintenance and safety records, regulations, and reports, protective clothing, and air terminal operations.
- Working knowledge of training techniques.
- Education Requirements:
**EDUCATION**: Two (2) years of full time, post secondary study at college or university is required.
- Evaluations:
**LANGUAGE**:
Fluent, speaking/reading/writing English is required. This may be tested.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
Must have a valid driver's license held for a minimum of five years.
