As a Senior Business Analyst Engineering Data Integrity your purpose will be to ensure that all maintenance records, aircraft part certification documentation, and related computerized systems data is stored and maintained in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.

This position also involves validating aircraft / engine / component utilization and updating data within the Maintenance Information System and the Records Management Systems accordingly. During aircraft sales / lease return processes, you will also prepare the Records management System and will be required to communicate with internal and external parties to ensure all sale / lease return processes are completed with high quality and on-time. During aircraft introduction to the airline, you will also ensure the required records are obtained, and systems updated to reflect the delivered aircraft configuration accurately.

Your main accountabilities include:

Managing the Maintenance Information System (Maintenix) with respect to aircraft records to ensure the ongoing accuracy and compliance of Qantas (or customer) aircraft, engine and component records and data.

Manage the Records Management System (FLYdocs) to ensure completeness of Qantas (or customer) aircraft records, and assembly of reports / letters to facilitate aircraft sales & lease returns.

Investigate configuration issues and potential exposure to non-conformance and liaise with other QE teams to resolve issues.

Liaise with other QE departments to resolve maintenance documentation issues, and report Quality issues.

Monitoring of reports and system alerts and taking corrective action to resolve discrepancies.

Review and address queries associated with fitted inventory or aircraft records.

Update of Maintenance Information System with inventory data for new aircraft & assembly deliveries

Update of Maintenance Information System with details of installed inventory following receipt from external vendors.

Control & Auditing of inventory Life-Limited Part (LLP) records.

Participate in Quality Investigations / Audits and take actions to address any Findings.

Conduct assessments in accordance with group self-audit program.

Perform daily functions in a safe manner whilst adhering to company policies and procedures.

Providing Technical Records assistance to external and internal customers as required.

Controlling / archiving / retrieval of aircraft maintenance and continuous airworthiness records, and delivery documents.

You’ll have:

Good knowledge of the airline maintenance and engineering processes and procedures.

Knowledge of Aircraft Technical Records and Documentation.

A good level of computer competency.

The ability to prioritise work and operate on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to demonstrate problem solving, analytical and communication skills

A team-oriented approach and will be a self-starter.

The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Methodical worker with ability to self-check work.

A commitment to excellence and attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret technical data associated with maintenance of aircraft.

Experience using computerized aircraft maintenance systems such as Maintenix or other systems.

Experience using computerized aircraft Records Management systems such as FLYdocs or other systems.

A keen eye for business process improvement.
