We're looking for an experienced Head of Delivery Operations & Major Projects lead to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria.


In this position you will ensure safe, reliable, high-quality and profitable execution of the delivery projects within their portfolio, leading to customer satisfaction and fulfilment of KONE business objectives.

Actively manage portfolio performance in terms of progress against schedule, planning accuracy, productivity, safety and quality performance. Ensure appropriate use of KONE installation methods and KONE Way operations management practices. Manage the regional Delivery Operations teams, ensuring competence and optimized deployment/allocation of the resources.

What will you be doing?

  • Coach and support and manage the Installation Team to consistently deliver safe, high quality and efficient installations on time which includes
  • Managing the installation crews and prepare for the customer and maintenance handovers and ensure readiness to start the installations
  • Hands on experience in delivering complex, high value projects in the Vertical Transport Sector
  • Continually develop and maintain Customer satisfaction and expectations
  • Managing performance and skill development of the team's
  • Spending time out in the field developing relationships
Are you the one?

  • Bachelor of Electrical/Mechanical or other relevant qualifications in the Construction Industry
  • Full drivers' licence
  • Experience in installation supervision/ management or Project Management in the Vertical Transport sector desirable
  • Safety first commitment in the workplace and Quality Management mindset
  • Skilled at managing, coaching and supporting multiple installation teams and subcontractor management
  • Proven success in Customer relationship management
  • Excellent contract management and negotiation skills
  • Experienced in Installation portfolio management
  • Experienced in forecasting and capacity planning
  • Managing performance and financial and reporting
  • Understanding of relevant laws, standards, norms and other requirements
  • Experienced in Industrial Relationship Management
  • Ability to interact with customers and ensure positive impact
  • Exceptional Internal and External stakeholder Engagement
  • High emotional intelligence
