ABOUT THE ROLE


Providing senior management capability to the Infrastructure Delivery team, you will support through your leadership to co-ordinate the delivery of major capital works and delivery programs in complex operational environments.

It will be imperative you have a collaborative approach when engaging with team members, delivery partners, and key stakeholders externally and across the business to provide efficient, effective and sustainable program management services.


ABOUT YOU


You will have a proven track record in delivering major infrastructure projects from concept to completion in a lead capacity, including management of commercial, technical, contract management, and stakeholder management aspects.

Furthermore, your ability to support Senior Management with the leadership and mentoring of teams throughout the project lifecycle will be highly regarded.

Your extensive background at a senior management level will hold you in good stead to drive outcomes and influence key business objectives.


Your key responsibilities will be

  • Provide strategic project management advice and support in running the infrastructure delivery function, operations division and supporting the broader business
  • Manage the delivery of major projects from concept to completion including sustainability considerations, engineering, administration, functional control and project management
  • Manage the preparation of all board, interdivisional and external reports
  • Risk management and safety leadership through setting and managing safety expectations and risk management programs to prevent incidents and harm to staff, contractors and port operators within an operating live port facility.
  • Manage and Influence key stake holders across the business
  • Provide strategic advice to Management and Board

Your key competencies will include:

  • Extensive senior management experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and key stake holders in a commercially astute manner
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering large multidisciplined infrastructure projects to the value of $80M + projects.
  • Extensive experience at a senior level in project management, while coordinating and managing resources for the successful delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts including commercial and technical aspects of engineering and construction services with a focus on risk management and value exchange.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or equivalent essential.
