About the role


We're looking for a Maintenance Manager for our
B&D Garage Doors business based at our Kilsyth manufacturing facility who is engaging and dynamic with a passion for maintenance and project engineering.

As a member of our team, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.


This role will be well-suited to someone with a reliability or project engineering background looking to step into their first leadership role.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance strategy
across the Kilsyth site

  • Perform project works, upgrading machinery, installing new machinery and heavy involvement with CI projects sitewide
  • Lead a small team of mechanical and electrical trades
  • Accountable for the reliability of production assets across site
  • Oversee Lean activities to improve Overall Equipment Efficiencies (OEE), with a structured approached to increase Quality, Availability and Performance.

Skills & Experience

  • Engineering qualification with experience in manufacturing
  • Some experience in Lean and Operational Excellence
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Leadership, influencing, negotiation, change management, conflict resolution, financial and computer literacy skills
