About the Role
Australian Unity is seeking an experienced Retirement Community Operations Manager to join our team at Walmsley Retirement Village and The Oaks Retirement Village. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Retirement Villages, ensuring an outstanding experience and quality service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operations of our Retirement Villages, including administration, gardening, and maintenance services.
- Engage with residents, gain feedback, and build strong relationships with the community.
- Effective financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and contract services.
- Meet with Resident Committees to gain valuable insights on community operations and opportunities.
- Conduct self-assessments to identify gaps and improvements aligned with the ARVAS Standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, managing Retirement Community operations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgetary and financial management.
- Compliance-driven individual with thorough knowledge of the ARVAS Standards and Retirement Villages Act 1986.
- Proven ability to identify, meet, and exceed key outcomes of national accreditation.
- Experience in leading teams and managing gardening/contract services.
