SECTION I

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

Student Advising_**- Supporting students on-campus by advising on aspects such as cultural acclimatization and general academic issues

  • Supporting student accommodation requests (i.e. Homestay and student residence)
  • Providing a special duty of care for underage students with regular checkins
  • Preparing for new student intake (ELICOS & VET)
  • Facilitating academic and financial intervention and problemsolving (if required)
  • Supporting agents by answering phone calls, responding to questions about current student status and providing course information
  • Acting as a point of contact for walkin students, conducting school tours and ensuring successful conversion
  • Facilitating student extensions
  • Creating and revising invoices and payment plans
  • Issuing COEs and working with the school's database system

_Other_

  • Answering the phone, transferring calls and taking messages
  • Helping students with questions and problems and/or leading them to the correct department
  • Updating PRISMS site with relevant student information
  • Assisting the manager & academic director with assigned tasks
  • Supporting reception (if required)
  • Attending general staff and team meetings and training sessions as assigned

Selection Criteria:
_**- Experience working in an international college and / or school

  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical skills (database, Microsoft 365, PRISMS etc)
  • A passion for education and sensitivity to the cultural and language issues facing our overseas students
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking proactive action on urgent matters
  • Proactively taking the lead on tasks and collaborating with the team's workload.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
  • Second language is a big plus (i.e. Korean/Japanese)

Working Hours:

Full-time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 8pm.
This position is based at the Sydney campus. It does not have a working from home option.
This position has an immediate start.
