the leadership team
of
Cross Cluster Operations and Business Support (CCOBS) within the Office of the Deputy Secretary Northern Cluster.

What you'll do


As the Leading Performance and Practice Manager you will deliver, plan and coordinate complex projects within agreed timelines and budgets, manage and lead staff and maintain and build stakeholder relationships in order to achieve DCJ strategic objectives.


You will oversee a dynamic team providing direct project support with CSC staff in service delivery for child protection and out of home care to maximise understanding of policy and practice to deliver sustainable, quality services that create meaningful change for families.

You will also oversee the operations policy team who review, consult on and develop policy and mandates relevant to casework provided to families.


What we're looking for
The Manager Leading Performance and Practice will possess the following highly considered skills in addition to the role description:

  • highly experienced senior district practitioner and leader or related experience
- high level skills and expertise in ChildStory and SARA
- extensive experience in delivering training and coaching to district practitioners and leaders
- high level skills in communication, both written and verbal

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a social work, social/Behavioural Science, Welfare or related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the _Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012._
