This role is based in Access, Equity & Inclusion, within the Division of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) which supports UNSW's diverse and inclusive community by working collaboratively with staff and students to drive targeted positive change across the university.


Why Your Role Matters:


The Project Officer is responsible for providing day to day administrative support for key strategic projects within Access, Equity & Inclusion.

The role will also provide practical support for accompanying research and evaluation.

Who You Are:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant project experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven project experience with demonstrated success in supporting projects (ideally cross institutional initiatives in higher education).
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks according to strict deadlines and meet desired outcomes by using judgement and initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, taking initiative and a proactive approach to driving process improvement.
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability and willingness to work outside of normal working hours and work at locations across Sydney and NSW.
