The Opportunity

B2B is the fastest growing business area for Samsung Australia. Currently we sell exciting solutions across different divisions including mobile phones, tablets, displays and air conditioning.

As the business continues to develop many more of our clients are using Samsung B2B solutions from more than one category, which we refer to as a "B2B Multi Device Experience".

This exciting evolution has created an opportunity to join the team as a B2B Product Manager.


This role will support our 'B2B MDE' proposition by bringing together products from the various sub categories and understanding the connected solutions created through our software platforms such as Smart Things and Dex.

The PM will take this knowledge and help us create a unique B2B product proposition and identify the channels and vertical markets to capitalise on this opportunity.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Creation of quarterly business plan. Each sub category has existing PM's, the B2B PM will need to have a collaborative approach to work across the divisions to create a collated B2B story. The plan will need to highlight key MDE business opportunities and activity taking place over the coming 12 weeks.
  • Midterm product strategy development. Working with key stakeholders, setting and driving towards key landmarks and business KPI's.
  • Coordination of key in market activity. Working with the B2B Brand Manager to develop our communications and marketing plan on a rolling 12 month basis.
  • Management of pipeline and business opportunity. Using our 'Salesforce' CRM system coordinate our monthly opportunity day and provide weekly pipeline analysis.
  • Ensure we manage our financial commitment each month. Working with sales to ensure the we deliver operational cadence and sales to the month's forecast.
Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree would be preferred, alongside relevant experience
  • Highly prefer B2B experience in a similar role having worked for a hardware operation 4+ years of relevant category, product or product marketing preferably in Consumer Electronics / Telecom/ Computer Hardware or relevant industries
  • Highly developed ability to accurately forecast and manage own P&L
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced commercial environment
  • Having a strong commercial background with a desire to progress in product management career
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and effective listening skill with an analytical mindset are essential
  • Proactive approach and always being passionate to make a difference in your day
