We have an exciting opportunity available to join a dynamic and growing team of analytical and investigative professionals that ensure the correct amount of waste levy is remitted by scheduled waste facilities that are required to pay the levy.
About You
- Knowledge and understanding of the statutory requirements under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2014 and the associated Waste Levy Guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, conducting compliance audits and/or financial audits.
- Experience in developing and reviewing policy, procedures and guidelines and project development.
- Ability to provide support, assistance and advice to internal and external stakeholders.
About the Team
The Unit is based in Parramatta providing technical advice to internal and external stakeholders and assisting Operations Units situated in Sydney, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour and Wollongong.
