UGL Rail facility Site based in Bassendean, WA are currently seeking an experienced

Maintenance & Services Coordinator for a full-time opportunity.


The role of a Maintenance and Services Coordinator is to organize and manage through the phases of Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Closure of work and/or services that are controlled by the UGL Bassendean site to meet customer expectations.


About the Role

  • Process customer orders within SAP and coordinate the work to completion and meet realistic customer requirements.
  • Validate customer orders against current price schedules or contracts.
  • Compile and release job packs to the workshop or vendors with the required information to complete the work safely, efficiently and within the required time frames.
  • Review notifications to quote work, create and release work orders upon customer approvals.
  • Source pricing for components from vendors for nonstock items or services. Raise requisitions (and purchase orders where applicable) for the procurement of components to support the work in progress.
  • Liaise with account managers and customers to ensure their queries, requirements and concerns are handled in a professional manner.
  • Invoice the customer by progress claims or completion of the works dependent on commercial agreements.
  • Report to Planning Manager on forecast work based on customer supplied advanced work schedules, quotations or tender schedules.

About You

  • An absolute commitment to promote and maintain a safe team environment.
  • Minimum of three to five (35) years' in a Maintenance and Services Coordinator related role ideally within an engineering/maintenance environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills and professional, responsive, insightful and decisive decision making skills.
  • Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven.
  • Must be energetic with a positive can do attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology.
  • 5S and other LEAN best practice experience highly desirable.
