Product Manager Derivatives and Global Access

CommSec, Australia's leading online broker, is seeking a Product Manager for our Product & Investing Solutions Crew. This team oversees the CommSec product portfolio, including Equities, Margin Lending, Cash, and Derivatives, with accountability for P&L outcomes.

Our goal is to empower more Australians to grow their wealth by managing, developing, and implementing new products, features, and services.


Do Work That Matters


As a Product Manager, you will be pivotal in delivering key P&L and customer-focused outcomes for the CommSec Derivatives and Global Access squad.

Reporting to the Chapter Lead, you will build and leverage stakeholder relationships to support the implementation of our product roadmap.

You will help provide customers with easy-to-use tools and resources to manage their investment decisions.

More specifically you will;

  • Manage products such as Exchange Traded Options, Warrants, and International Trading
  • Monitor product performance and assess it against regulatory and performance objectives
  • Engage with stakeholders to create and deliver product plans and document processes
  • Act as an SME on changes rolled out by CommSec and CBA teams and business partners
  • Deliver initiatives on the product roadmap through individual performance and team collaboration
  • Ensure product compliance with regulatory obligations and Group Policies and Standards
  • Analyse data and financial metrics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and manage risks associated with the product
  • Understand customer needs, including pain points, to drive change and deliver customer and business outcomes
  • Continuously improve the product offering and processes to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Build and foster strong relationships across the product value chain to ensure efficient delivery of the product roadmap and resolution of issues.

  • Previous experience in product management or project management is highly desirable
  • Experience with CommSec/Investing Products, Processes, and Systems is advantageous but not compulsory
  • A passion for customercentric product design
  • Strategic skills and business acumen with a track record of leading and executing projects
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and management capabilities
  • Strong problemsolving skills and comfort with navigating ambiguity
  • Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with others
