About the role


Have you finished school and wondering what to do next We have an exciting opportunity for an entry level Storeperson to join our team and be trained into all aspects of warehousing: Bar Coding, SAP, forklift operation, gantry crane operation, heavy vehicle, Dogging, First Aid, CPR, purchasing of materials and much more.


You will be working as part of a small team, providing all required materials and support to Managers, Team Leaders, Project managers, Field staff and Contractors in line with Zinfra guidelines and client requirements.


Key Responsibilities include

  • Picking orders, receipting and dispatching materials
  • Undertake material management using SAP to maintain and monitor all materials
  • Establish strong working relationships with field crews, client and contractors to promote and provide quality customer service
  • Recording the movements and quantity of materials used by internal resources and/or contractors for job costins
  • Ensure safe operation of mobile plant and equipment and comply with relevant Work Method Statements
  • Participate in oncall roster (one week every six weeks once fully trained) and available to complete overtime/weekend work as required

About You

  • Ability to effectively communicate and build strong business relationships with internal/external clients
  • Good computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Strong focus on safety
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence
  • Forklift (desirable but not essential)
