NITV is currently looking for a Production Coordinator who will need to ensure that the day to day production needs of the NITV teams are supported, and undertaking their work in a way that reflects SBS's Charter, Vision and Values and complies with relevant SBS policies, procedures and practices

About the role:

  • Providing Executive assistant and administration support to the production team which includes but not limited: Rostering crew, processing invoices, booking domestic and international travel.
  • Maintaining production records, transmission reports and program files. Obtaining licensing agreements and appropriate documentation for sourced footage. Registering commercial music details with APRA.
  • Sourcing and maintenance of production equipment, Coordinating transcripts, production rundowns, shoot schedules, call sheets and credit lists
  • Talent coordination including running schedule and communication, Engaging external contractors

About you


As the Production Coordination you will be highly motivated with a meticulous eye for detail and will have a high degree of initiative.

You will be able to recognise the pressures of working in a deadline driven broadcast environment.

  • Production Coordination will have a can do attitude and willingness to learn
- coordinating numerous tasks simultaneously to deliver high-quality work to delivery time-lines.

  • Demonstrated experience showing initiative and problem solving in a media or digital technologyworking environment
  • Experience either in post production or media coordination, including experience in rostering, booking facilities, processing invoices and payments.
  • You would ideally have experience as a production coordinator in a television production environment.
