About Our Practice:

  • We have two surgeons and a team of long term employees most have been with us 5+ to 10+ years
  • Our rooms are beautifully appointed and modern recently relocating to the Cambridge Building
  • Newcastle Private Hospital

Must Have Experience:
This role requires a person with previous experience in a surgical practice.

This dynamic role will see you undertaking the following tasks;

  • Working across all aspects of our busy surgical practice
  • Overseeing the patient bookings and daytoday flow for our two dynamic surgeons
  • Supporting the Practice Manager in a Financial Management / People Management capacity
  • Driving New Business Development initiatives
  • Developing & implementing new Practice Protocols
  • Managing employees rostering and performance management
  • Financial reporting measuring past performance and projecting future performance
  • Liaising with Patients to ensure flow of journey through the Practice ensuring a 5 Star experience
  • Liaising with 3rdParty Providers
  • Workers Compensation and Allied Health
  • Debt collection
  • Writing and editing Doctor Referral Letters
  • Manage the Patient Journey on consultation days

A Little About You:

You will be an agile and lateral thinker, able to develop strategies and confident to introduce new procedures and protocols to enhance our Practice.


Our team are all willing to multi task, and this role will require you to work on the front desk - which will assist you to stay up to date with strategies to constantly improve our patient journey and practice systems.

- full time or part time (we are open to discussing your preference)

  • Monday to Friday (no weekends)
  • Competitive pay rate based on experience and skills you bring to the role
  • Work with an experienced Practice Manager & a positive team


This role that will also see you take on special projects associated with building new business, assisting with day-to-day Practice operations, ensuring our patients are cared for and receive personalised treatment beyond their expectations.
