What You Will Be Doing


The Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System has set out a vision for mental health reform over the next 10 years.

The Victorian State Government has committed to implementation of all recommendations from the Royal Commission which outlines that key areas for change for mental health and wellbeing services.

The Transformation Team at Peninsula Health lead the priority projects across the reform priority areas to the future state vision for the entire service for Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula communities.

Reporting to the Head of Transformation the Project Officer, will be part of the small Transformation team with the primary purpose of the role to provide administrative and project support.

The project Officer will work across the team to assist in the implementation of a range of priority areas across the Peninsula Health mental health service.

This includes (but is not limited to) projects such as, Infant, Child and Youth mental health service, After Hours service expansion, Integrated treatment care and support for Alcohol and other drug and Mental health service and working across a number of other priorities areas as part of the Transformation team work plan

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a project support/assistant or coordination role in a complex organisation.
  • Excellent verbal/written / administrative / technological skills.
  • Project delivery experience in a project support role and be a selfstarter.
  • Ability to consult, liaise with range of stakeholders, including people with a living or lived experience plus the ability to form relationships with people, by quickly and easily establishing rapport
