Alfred Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Strategy and Planning Team as a Consumer Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the leadership of Lived Experience to collaboratively plan, implement, and deliver on the transformation plan for mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the full life cycle of projects, including research, analysis, and implementation, to achieve defined outcomes and outputs.
- Manage projects or sub-projects, ensuring successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters.
- Monitor and evaluate projects to ensure objectives are met, inclusive of consumer and carer participation.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and collaborating with people from different levels and roles.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working in a consumer consultant or peer work position within health services, with successful completion of training such as Intentional Peer Support or equivalent.
- Australian working rights.
- Full Covid-19 and 2023 Influenza vaccination.
- Willingness to undergo a Background Check.
- Portable long service leave from other public health services.
