AV is seeking an experienced administrator to provide administrative support relating to the Commencing Practice programs in our Operational Capability Department.

This is a full time, fixed term until May 2024 (maternity leave) based at Sunshine.
About the role
Providing effective and efficient administrative support and reporting to the Lead Commencing Practice, the responsibilities of the Commencing Practice Program Officer include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain commencing practice programs for the area to ensure the efficient retrieval and dissemination of information and to facilitate efficiency.
  • Assist with accurate record keeping of learning activities by conducting quality assurance and data entry.
  • Maintain an effective and efficient filing system in consultation with Central Records to ensure all information is centrally recorded in HPRM, stored confidentially and readily accessible.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and systems to ensure effective operation and delivery of outcomes, including the development of effective procedures and policies.
  • Liaise with Clinical Managers, Paramedic Educators, Clinical Instructors, Team Managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure all required paramedic information is received and processed within the required timeframe.
About you

To be considered for this position you will possess:

  • Experience and expertise in providing administrative support within a large organisation or department.
  • Experience with an Oracle database and enterprise level learning management system (desirable).

This position is graded an Administration Band 3 under the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2020.
