About the role

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HR) at Cleanaway, you will play a pivotal role partnering with our Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia business to provide trusted advice, embed strategic HR initiatives, support ER case management, performance management and change management activities.

Some local and national travel will be required.

Every day will be different, but some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of our People Strategy.
  • Coaching and influencing our leaders to build on team performance and navigate management processes.
  • Using analytical people data to provide recommendations and influence decision making.
  • Supporting complex Employment Relations matters, including investigations and issues resolution.
  • Working with teams and leaders through change and transformation programs.
  • Championing people management processes including performance, talent and reward strategies.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline would be highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR Business Partnering role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to maintain trusted and effective working relationships across all levels of the business, including the ability to influence and negotiate to produce efficient and effective outcomes.
  • Ability to explore business needs in a data-driven way, analytical by nature.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach with a focus on simplicity, ease of use and employee experience.
  • Cleanaway is a fast paced and high-performance environment; candidates need to be able demonstrate resilience and the ability to think quickly to solve unpredictable problems/situations.
  • Your ability to influence and shape the strategic people agenda at all business levels will be welcomed.
