About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at ALS. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business strategy and driving cultural transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, including employment law, employee relations, and talent management
  • Lead and manage HR projects, including the implementation of HR systems and processes
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees and managers to support their development and growth
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Manage employee grievances and complaints in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide HR support to employees and managers across the organization
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proven track record of delivering HR projects and initiatives that drive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide recommendations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to travel occasionally, if required
