Student Administration at the University of Notre Dame provides expertise, service and operational support across a broad range of student administration, student service and key regulatory, policy and compliance functions that support the academic decisions of the Faculties, Schools and other relevant departments at the university.


About role


The primary purpose of the Student Administration and Graduation Coordinator is to provide a high standard of excellence in delivering student administration services that effectively and efficiently recognise and meet the needs of a range of student cohorts and Academic Divisions over multiple sites.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide high level administrative support, data entry and preparation of documentation and materials to effectively support a range of activities associated with the student journey including graduations.
  • Assist with the coordination of graduation logistics on the ground in Fremantle to ensure successful delivery of University graduations with a focus on logístical, academic and related administrative elements. As required support graduations at other locations through a streamlined national approach.
  • Utilise documented procedures, timelines and policies to support the student administration requirements of Student Administration, ensuring best practice, quality assurance processes and continuous improvement strategies are adhered to in all aspects of operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and University stakeholders by providing quality responses to a wide range of queries, whilst liaising closely with other areas of the organisation on graduation and other student administration processes.

About you

  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in tertiary or other education sectors.
  • Demonstrate ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact and discretion as well as proven experience handling sensitive and personal information in a confidential and appropriate manner.
