ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the National Administration Team Leader, this role is responsible for coordinating the effective administration of clinical placements and maintain existing relationships to support the specific needs of the discipline and the host clinical partner organisation.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee placement processes in consultation with Clinical Placement Academic Lead, including the coordination of requests and offers for placement and assistance with the allocation of students to placements with clinical partner organisations
- Maintain effective liaison with clinical partner organisations including the tracking and recording of financial transactions relative to placements
- Coordinate the recruitment and support for Clinical Facilitators, including training of relevant systems
- Provide indepth and accurate advice and guidance to practicum students, ensuring they are regularly and properly informed regarding the stages of the practicum placement process
- Contribute to the progressive review and refinement of clinical placement activities and general communications
- Ensure the timely response to student enquires, the secure and accurate recording of student data and for the preparation of reports and other relevant documentation
- Supervise the daytoday operations, training and mentoring for staff members within the Clinical team, including in the use of relevant software platforms and programs
ABOUT YOU
- Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience OR extensive experience in a relevant discipline
- Extensive experience and expertise in clinical practicum coordination in a tertiary institution
- Highlevel interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong and effective collaborative professional relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with evidence of producing timely, clear and concise written communications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability in providing effective supervision and leadership for small to medium multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to be selfdirected, respond to changing priorities, solve problems, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in the higher education sector
