Exciting Opportunity for a Solutions Design Manager at Toll Group:
Looking to join our Retail & Consumer Division, as a Solutions Design Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Warehouse Solution Design. Your main responsibilities will encompass specialized analysis, warehouse design, and commercial due diligence to craft top-tier distribution and logistics solutions for both new clients and current operations.
This Role Involves:
- Leading projects for warehouse design in various industries, catering to both new and existing clients
- Supporting project implementation for new and existing clients, including operational changes
- Conducting analytical support for intralogistics design projects, encompassing data analysis, insights, process flow design, cost modeling, and presentations
- Providing peer review input to maintain quality standards within the Supply Chain Solutions team
- Collaborating across Toll functions and teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Actively seeking to enhance standard team outputs by identifying new technologies and suggesting improvements to work processes and tools
- Assisting business development and account management teams in pre-sales planning and developing successful bid strategies
Key Requirements for Success:
- Over 7 years of experience in a related industry, with a minimum of 5 years in logistics or supply chain roles
- Strong grasp of Intralogistics concepts and their role in the broader supply chain context
- Profound knowledge of supply chain tools and practical warehouse design expertise
- Commercial and financial acumen, including familiarity with finance and P/L principles
- Ability to respond promptly to customer needs and tenders
- Proficiency in statistical methodologies
- Critical thinking skills to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement them with team support
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Visio, with AutoCAD proficiency being advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related field from a recognized institution
