About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Designer to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our Digital and Consumer Finance technology team, you will play a critical role in transforming our business vision into reality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the discovery and production of high-level solution designs by consulting with architects, tech/business stakeholders, and external providers.
  • Engage with various stakeholders and become an expert in your domain while supporting the broader engineering community.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to development teams wherever required.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in consumer products originations (Cards/Personal Loans).
  • 10+ years of overall IT industrial/SDLC experience.
  • Excellent analysis and design skills with technical problem-solving.
  • Experience in design principles and standards.
  • Experience in API security and authentication & authorisation patterns.
