Claims Manager

As a Claims Manager you will be someone who can pick up the ins and outs of insurance processes and deliver it to customers in a way that feels refreshingly simple.

What you'll do
- Deliver a sustained high level of service to insured customers and property managers across the range of Terri Scheer Insurance landlord insurance products.
- Review and processing claims including liaising closely with customers, assessing loss and determining claims settlement including declinature within defined authority levels and legislated time frames.
- Selfmanage and monitor individual workload to ensure all claims are processed within Code of Practice guidelines and internal service standards.
- Adopt a customer focus in the delivery of internal/external services.
- Build, enhance and maintain quality relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Have quality conversations with our customers to explain the claims process, claim outcomes and offer support throughout the claim life.
What you'll bring
- A customer centric mindset, and a passion for helping people and making a difference
- Previous Customer Service experience (hospitality, retail or contact centre)
- Knowledge & understanding of the insurance market
- Effective Time management skills
- Adaptable and responsive to a continuously changing environment
- To be resilient and have an ability to positively manage difficult situations
- Communication Skills ability to convey and explain information, effectively, coherently, professionally and confidently both verbally and in writing
- A high level of attention to detail
