The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader to join our team on a part-time basis. In this position, you will lead and organize activities and programs that enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Your creativity, ability to lead, and dedication to improving the quality of life for seniors will be crucial to your success.

About You

You should hold a Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or a relevant certification. It is essential to offer personalized care to all residents, including those with dementia and complex behaviors, focusing on meeting their specific needs and preferences.

Essential:

  • Cert III Individual Support /Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
  • Proven skill in effectively communicating with elderly individuals, utilizing suitable strategies to address their unique needs.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of WHS principles - including identifying & addressing venue-specific risks
  • Current unencumbered Drivers Licence
  • Readiness to obtain a bus driver's license and operate the bus as required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and relevant software programs.
  • 2 Recent Managerial Referees
