Position Summary


Reporting and working closely with Sales and Finance leads, this highly visible role will be responsible for providing diversified sales performance and analytical support to internal stakeholders to make well-informed commercial decisions.


We are seeking a sales analyst with a motivated and pro-active mindset, able to establish insights from data and work collaboratively with different groups across the APAC region.


The business has made positive steps with the development and automation of key business reporting metrics using tier 1 BI & Planning tools, this role will continue to lead to further development and automation of the reporting suite.


Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Create, Maintain & Monitor regional sales analytics & reporting on tableau, power BI & SharePoint, as well as conducting regular performance analysis.
  • Identify key business trends & provide meaningful insights
  • Business Partnering with Sales Ops Director as well as Sales & Operations Management on delivering strategic initiatives
  • Preparation of Margin & Pricing analysis, providing recommendations on Customer & Product pricing
  • Preparation of monthly board reporting packs
  • Collaboration with the global BI team to ensure continual improvement of the available data suite
  • Preparation of Sales Commission workings
  • Support the regional finance team
  • Preparing a wide range of written proposals including full costing quotations
  • Offering insightful and strategic solutions to business objectives
  • Supporting the implementation of marketing programs, new product rollouts and other key business initiatives
  • Developing and executing action plans from researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Developing strategy and reporting on successes and areas needing improvements

Requirements:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Experience of BI & Planning tools (Preferably Tableau & TM1)
  • Comfortable working independently and crossfunctionally in a flexible and positive manner
  • Experience in working with and influencing nonfinance functions and/or suppliers
  • Proactive and passionate attitude
  • Able to interact with others with the confidence to deliver the necessary impact & influence
  • A sharp and analytical mindset with the ability to relate numbers back to operational reality
  • Solutionbased approach to problemsolving
  • Ability to assess and communicate complex situations concisely
