About the opportunity
Australia Post is seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join us as Network Operations Standards Manager. In this role, you will take the lead in driving operational efficiency projects within Australia Post's Network Operations.

Your expertise in business analytics, continuous improvement, project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management will be vital in defining, planning, and managing projects.

You will have the opportunity to coordinate solution design and guide initiatives through the project management lifecycle to successful implementation.

What you'll deliver with us


With a focus on network operations and cross-enterprise collaboration, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting initiatives across the broader enterprise.

Your role will entail taking a holistic view, identifying inefficiencies, addressing customer pain points, and implementing new procedures.

Drawing on your continuous improvement skillset, you'll identify and analyse root causes, create treatment plans, and collaborate with diverse teams to drive change management.

You'll also

  • Ensuring projects key milestones, timelines, schedule, objectives and costs are met.
  • Manage constraints, quality and risks for each project and put plans in place to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcome.
  • Manage stakeholders engagement for each project, by identifying and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across different locations, levels (management & end users) and business functions to solicit requirements to uplift our customer experience and deliver enterprise efficiencies
  • Demonstrates sufficient consideration of customer needs and customer experience targets, as driven by business requirements
  • Contribute to identification of project business benefits by measuring process improvements (e.g. timing) or other cost/benefit analysis

About you
You are a curious, open-minded and collaborative professional. Your problem-solving skills using business improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Agile experience are crucial for driving business improvements.

Leveraging your influential and analytical abilities, along with your proven track record of leading change and delivering change initiatives, to empower the broader business and create a significant impact.


  • LEAN certified, Green or Black belt or other project management certification is ideal
  • Tertiary educated
  • Supply Chain / Logistics knowledge advantageous but not essential
  • Proven track record of implementing change initiatives
