Your Impact:


As the Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising media activities across some of Asahi's most iconic brands, ensuring the highest standards of performance and impact.

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, optimisation and alignment of all media activities across the marketing function, and play a lead role in agency & portfolio budget management.


This position serves as a maternity leave replacement hire and will be offered on a fixed-term contract basis spanning approx. 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will hold an essential relationship between Agency & brand teams and will provide guidance and expertise across media, consumer journeys and media ecosystems.
  • Foster growth and expertise within brand teams, enhancing media planning and execution capabilities.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement portfolio media strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for trial of new partners, products or media to improve brand and consumer experiences.
  • Provide guidance on media execution targets, media execution spend and the selection of appropriate media channels.
  • Lead the measurement and reporting of media performance, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement & maximising ROI.
  • Cultivate strong relationships internally and externally, influencing senior stakeholders and representing the Integrated Marketing team effectively.

About You:

Motivated and driven, you are a high calibre media expert with demonstrated experience in media planning and optimisation.

  • Minimum 78 years of extensive experience working in media management, including
- proven expertise in overseeing large portfolio budgets across an organisation.

  • A degree in Commercial Business or Marketing would be advantageous, complementing your industry experience.
  • Strong media and commercial focus combined with the ability to leverage consumer and market insights to identify and act on opportunities.
  • A deep understanding of various media channels and their impact, with the ability to recommend optimal strategies
  • Advanced proficiency in media performance metrics and data analysis
  • Proven performance in demonstrating success improving ROI & delivering to business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders to genuinely understand a change in direction and/ or change in investment
  • A collaborative mindset, contributing positively to a supportive work environment and inspiring others to excel.
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and industry trends.
