Spiritual Care Practitioner

Part Time position available City locations Be an integral part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Spiritual and Pastoral care team.

We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and motivated Spiritual Care Practitioners to join our team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Your new role:

Provide Spiritual/Pastoral care to a wide range of inpatients, which may include aged care, trauma, oncology, ICU, palliative care, and their families and carers, at Royal Melbourne main campus. assessing and prioritising Pastoral/Spiritual needs and developing appropriate care plans responding to specific referrals in a timely manner and documenting appropriately assisting with the provision of religious and spiritual resources, including Memorial services Be involved in organisational education, professional development and research.

About you:

You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style Qualifications in Pastoral/Spiritual Care or equivalent Advanced Certificate Clinical Pastoral Education (or equivalent) Membership of Spiritual Care Australia at advanced level (or eligibility), with an ability to function at Level 3 of the Credentialing Framework. Evidence of Continuing Professional development Multi-faith and multicultural sensitivity Computer literacy (you will be trained to use EPIC Electronic Medical Record)
