Summary:Lead safety, quality, and efficiency efforts by developing and implementing processes and systems to save costs. Ensure compliance with Sealed Air (Entapack) and customer specifications. Drive process/product changes, enhancements, and new product launches. Play a vital role in site leadership for internal operations and external customer needs. Focus on Dandenong site and customer visits in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee safety, quality, & process engineering on-site.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement recommendations for new equipment and procedures. Ensure compliance with Acts, Regulations, and safety policies. Provide Engineering Solutions for site safety enhancements.
- Utilize material expertise to plan and execute raw material substitutions, including coordinating testing of new product introductions or existing product trials. This involves Blown Film Extrusion, Injection Moulding & Film Conversion Machinery.
- Manage small to medium projects site-wide, including process improvements, development, machinery upgrades, process refinement, and SOPs development.
- Offer customer technical support for new or modified product introductions and performance issues.
- Lead group using Continuous Improvement methods to deliver measurable improvements in your area.
- Resolve technical processing issues and work on solutions with maintenance personnel.
- Contribute to daily performance review meetings and provide technical expertise updates. Organize contract personnel based on meeting outcomes.
- Engineering or Technical degree - required
- Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), Root cause analysis (RCA)
- Ability to lead multiple tasks, projects, and initiatives
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Effective communication at all organizational levels
- Possess high personal organization to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel intrastate/interstate/overseas
