Assistant New Car Sales Manager - North Shore, Sydney
Our client is a multi-franchise new car dealership located in Sydney's North Shore. They are seeking a hands on, selling Assistant Sales Manager to oversee their sales operations. The role is ideally suited to a very strong sales consultant looking for a step up in their career.

Responsibilities:


To help oversee the day to day operations of the Sales Department including the preparation of monthly management reports, overseeing expenditure and budget achievement, and mentoring sales consultants.


  • Identify and prospect new retail customers from within our primary marketing area
  • Understand the customers objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes
  • Build rapport, forming long term business relationships
  • Lead and undertake all aspects of the sales process, from prospect through to delivery.; and assist less experienced sales consultants
  • Promote a subset of company products and services ensuring successful introductions to Car Care and Finance & Insurance
  • Attend various business and industry events as required.

Experience

  • Previous Automotive Sales experience essential, with demonstrated leadership skills within a retail environment
  • Previous Automotive Sales Management experience preferred, but NOT essential.
  • Sound administrative and organisational skill sufficient to oversee administrative aspects of the Department
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Sound computer skills and a proven ability to maximise output from available databases

  • Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate sales personnel to ensure the achievement of targets
