Our client, a highly regarded and well-established managed service provider, is looking to hire several experienced and service orientated Support Analysts.

The Support Analyst will perform Level 1 & 2 support to its customers end user services and devices.



PLEASE NOTE:
Linux and Networking


This role will require shift work - 12 hour shifts in a 2,2,3 on/off rotating pattern i.e 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. (Moving to a 10-hour shift in the near future).
***Things you'll need:
  • Service Desk/IT Support experience working in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating system administration;

CLI:

Be familiar with the Linux command line, understand system administration tasks such as installing and configuring software, managing users and groups, and monitoring system performance.


Scripting and automation:

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl is essential to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.


Networking knowledge:
must be familiar with basic networking concepts, including configuring network interfaces, firewalls, and routing.

  • Demonstrable experience in request logging tools
  • Proven track record in providing excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Demonstrated track record of analysis and problemsolving skills.
  • ITIL certification or have knowledge of ITIL.
  • Experience working in a managed service environment is desirable.
  • Have no criminal police record.
  • Unrestricted permanent working rights in Australia
  • Cleared for any of the following clearances
    :NV 1 security clearance, Baseline security clearance. You must be a PR or Citizen to obtain these**.
