role of

Director/Nominated Supervisor.
We are a Community Preschool located in the beautiful coastal town of Nambucca Heads. We run two rooms accommodating 39 places per day. We operate on a school term basis and as such, you will enjoy 12 weeks paid leave per year.
We are seeking someone who has experience as a Director in a Community Based Preschool.

Someone who can support the staff in their roles and someone who has a head for business to ensure our preschool is run in accordance with all compliance and regulatory standards.


Requirements:
ACECQA recognised Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or a Diploma in Children's Services.

Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).An understanding of the Department of Education funding guidelines and regulations.

Extensive experience within the Early Childhood sector.
Excellent communication, management and leadership skills.
Thorough understanding of the National Laws and Regulations.
Knowledge of the Child Safety Standards.
The ability to multitask.
Working knowledge of OWNA an advantage.
Working with Children Check and current first aid and CPR certificates.

Responsibilities:
Overseeing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Drive effective business performance.
Lead and support all staff.
Manage rosters and staff attendance.
Monitor and manage staff performance including performance appraisals and individual learning and development plans for staff.
Ensure Health and Safety Standards are maintained in accordance with all standards and policies.
Foster and nurture collaborative partnerships with children and families.
Develop, adhere to and maintain Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).Maintain, update and ensure compliance of our preschool policies.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve high-quality outcomes for families, children and team members.
