About the role
We create and manage authentic and engaging brands and brand experiences through all mediums.

Creatives at Guerrilla are given a wide scope to develop and refine their craft and are encouraged to research and conceptualise design experiences in line with the latest trends.

In this full-time Art Director role, also known as a Design Lead at Guerrilla, you'd be overseeing the design outputs within our creative team spanning visual design, UX/UI, and motion design while working under our Creative Lead and Strategy Director.

Day-to-day you'd be providing the team with direction, creative ideation, problem-solving, mentoring, and quality assurance while contributing to project delivery on the tools.

Experience and confidence in collaborating within a creative team, presenting to clients, and across multiple design mediums are essential.

More broadly, you'd be working closely with Directors and senior team members across strategy, media, content, technology, and account services.

About you

We're on the hunt for an Art Director with deep agency experience encompassing brand, digital, UX, campaign, print, outdoor, motion/video and ideation.

You'll need a minimum 8+ years of agency experience with a strong eye for quality and detail through design, layout, typography, photography, and a portfolio that demonstrates your capability and experience.

Requirements:

• Broad experience working with notable brands across mediums
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills
• A proven ability to think creatively and strategically on behalf of clients
• Strong design capability, knowledge and a desire to maintain your design practise
• Effectively work within a multidisciplinary and digitally focused team
• Professional ability to give and take constructive feedback
• Willingness and ability to be on the tools to develop concepts and communicate design direction to clients and team
• Ability to timemanage effectively

Essential skills:

• Understanding of, and experience in; branding, ideation, layout, colour theory, image selection and typography across mediums
• A highlevel of technical ability and experience with Figma, Adobe CC and task management systems
• Ability to take a project from initial brief through to concept and creative production and output
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring your team's output is to the highest standard and on brand
• Able to confidently pitch/present and influence clients while establishing working relationships
• Ability to deliver purposeful and confident feedback to your team to achieve the required outcomes
• Work closely with Directors, Managers and our team in daily workflows
• Ability to effectively mentor others and work within a team
• Willingness to go above and beyond to deliver a project when required
• Bring positivity and encouragement to the team through a considerate and collaborative approach

Beneficial skills:

• Knowledge of digital marketing formats, strategies and tactics
• Experience refreshing and developing brand identities and creating brand manuals
• Experience and skills with production teams on photography and video shoots
