- Managing daily production in a manufacturing environment
- Lead and train staff to ensure operational outcomes are met.
- Evaluating production plans and inventory levels
- Mentoring and coaching staff
- Manage processes, including constantly reviewing and seeking improvements in production processes, efficiencies, and quality.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- WHS policies & compliance including injuries & related safety incidents.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- the ability to lead and coach a team.
- 5+ years in a similar role (working in a manufacturing environment).
- Experience/background in Electrical Assembly is preferable but not essential.
- Experience with continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
- Strong verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to create & oversee the execution of manufacturing and delivery schedules.
- Ability to relate to all levels of management.
- High attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of WH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
