Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our product team. As a Buying Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the product team to ensure the successful execution of our product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Sourcing and Procurement
    • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products
    • Source new products and suppliers to meet business needs
  • Product Management
    • Collaborate with the product team to develop and implement product strategies
    • Monitor product performance and provide insights to inform future product decisions
  • Supplier Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure excellent service and quality
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Relevant degree in business, marketing, or a related field
    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
