Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our product team. As a Buying Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our product procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Sourcing and Procurement
    • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure quality
  • Product Management
    • Assist in the management of product inventory and stock levels
    • Collaborate with the product team to identify trends and opportunities for product development
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the product team, including data entry and record-keeping
    • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Relevant degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
