We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Development Manager in the Power sector to join our Infrastructure Engineering team in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Perth on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the General Manager of Infrastructure Engineering, you will play a crucial role in managing and carrying out development activities for power generation projects, from pre-concept to final investment decision. These projects may involve solar, wind, BESS, and gas-fired power generation technologies delivered on an EPC/D&C or multi-contract basis.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create technically and commercially viable solutions for customer and internally generated projects
  • Assess development challenges across all areas such as land, permitting, grid connections, and procurement while identifying risks and opportunities
  • Establish a streamlined workflow to ensure project teams meet crucial milestones
  • Manage external consultants to support project development
  • Review deliverables to maintain an updated development plan
  • Coordinate internal infrastructure development workstreams
  • Work with BDMs and Infrastructure Delivery teams to manage relationships

Your Background

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Engineering, Project Management, Commerce)
  • Experience in power generation and renewable energy sectors
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and improvement
  • Knowledge in project progress evaluation
