About the Role

Brunel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Development Manager to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our project development team, you will play a crucial role in creating a pipeline of large-scale renewable energy projects, from site identification through to financial close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Lead the end-to-end development of solar and BESS projects, from greenfield identification through approvals and financing.
  • Team Management: Manage teams and external contractors to ensure projects meet timelines and budgets.
  • Permitting and Licensing: Secure necessary permits and licenses, working with local authorities and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project progression.
Business Development:
  • Business Case Development: Contribute to the creation of business cases for new renewable energy projects.
  • Due Diligence: Manage due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Provide input on emerging renewable energy technologies and market opportunities.
Growth Strategy:
  • Market Expansion: Support the company's growth in the Australian market by identifying and developing new project opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management to shape the project pipeline and growth strategy.
Reporting and Communication:
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project budgets and timelines, reporting on progress and risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder communications and manage community engagement for project development.

Requirements
